    Job Level

    The incumbent will design, apply and develop quantitative models for crisis simulation with a view to balancing and ensuring consistency between business needs, risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

    General Information on the Position

    Main Responsabilities
    The successful candidate will design, apply and develop quantitative models, including econometric models, for crisis simulation, including developing probability models for business interruption and losses in the event of business interruption. Ensure that the associated documentation is carefully produced.
    Participate closely in the development, quantification and coordination of different crisis scenarios, working in collaboration with other Desjardins business units.
    Communicate the impacts of crisis simulations to different audiences in order to facilitate understanding and, where appropriate, inform decision-making.
    Ensure coherence and balance between business needs, risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    Lead or contribute, where appropriate, to different projects, mandates or activities relating to crisis simulations.
    Act as a consultant for Desjardins business units and the various stakeholders for your area of expertise.
    Monitor industry trends to gain an understanding of them with a view to anticipating them and developing Desjardins processes accordingly to ensure compliance with current best practices.

    Baccalaureate in an appropriate discipline
